Affiliates

Your referral link, how sign-ups are tracked, and your referral stats.

The Affiliates page gives you a personal referral link and shows who has signed up through it. Share the link, and anyone who creates an account after following it is recorded as your referral. This guide explains where to find your link, how tracking works, and what the page reports.

Who this is for

Anyone who wants to refer new users to the platform. You need the affiliate: read permission to open the page.

Where to find it

Select Affiliates in the left menu. The page has two cards: Your Affiliate Link and Referral Statistics.

Your link is generated the first time you open the page and looks like this:

https://<your app address>/sign-up?ref=<your code>
  • Select the copy button next to the link to copy it to your clipboard.
  • Your affiliate code — the part after ref= — is shown beneath the link. It's unique to you and doesn't change.

The link is tied to your user account, not to the organization you're currently viewing.

How referrals are tracked

  1. Someone opens any page on the platform using your link. Your code is remembered in their browser for 3 months, so they don't have to sign up on the same visit.
  2. When they reach the sign-up page, it shows a Referred by banner with your name so they know the referral is attached.
  3. When they create their account, they're recorded as your referral and the stored code is cleared.

If they sign up without ever having followed a referral link, no referral is recorded.

Referral statistics

The Referral Statistics card shows:

  • Total Referrals — how many accounts have been created through your link.
  • Recent Referrals — up to five of your most recent referrals, with their name, email, and sign-up date.

If nobody has signed up yet, the card says "No referrals yet. Share your link to get started!"

The page reports referrals only — it doesn't display commission amounts or payouts.

Permissions

Viewing the Affiliates page requires affiliate: read. If you can't see it, ask your organization owner to grant the permission. See Account & Team.
