Quiz Funnels & Landing Pages

Build quiz funnels and import landing pages that capture leads.

Quiz funnels and landing pages are two ways to capture leads on a public page without building anything in the website builder. A quiz funnel asks visitors one question at a time and then collects their contact details. A landing page is an existing HTML page you paste in, which your workspace then hosts with lead capture wired into its forms.

Both feed the same lead pipeline as every other source: a completed quiz or submitted form becomes a lead in your CRM, is checked for duplicates, and is routed like any other new lead.

You'll find both under Leads in the sidebar: Leads → Quiz Funnels and Leads → Landing Pages.

Quiz funnels

Creating a quiz

  1. Go to Leads → Quiz Funnels and select New quiz funnel.
  2. Either:
    • enter a Title and select Create blank, or
    • paste a description of your offer or business under Generate from your offer (at least a sentence) and select Generate with AI. A draft quiz is generated for you to review. If your workspace has no AI key set up, you get an offline template draft instead.
  3. The editor opens so you can build or refine the questions.

The quiz editor

Select Edit on any quiz to open its editor. Questions run top to bottom, and a contact step is added automatically at the end — you don't create that yourself.

SettingWhat it does
TitleShown at the top of every step.
Intro (optional)One line shown under the title on the first step.
QuestionsThe steps of the quiz (see below).
Thank-you message (optional)Shown after a completed submission. If left blank, visitors see "We got your answers and will be in touch shortly."
TCPA consent text (optional)When set, the contact step shows a required checkbox with this exact wording. Visitors must tick it before submitting, and the wording they agreed to is recorded on the lead as a consent record.

For each question you can set:

  • The question text.
  • TypeSingle choice (one answer from a list), Multiple choice (several answers), or Free text (a typed answer).
  • Options — for single and multiple choice, the answers to offer. Select Add option to add more, and the bin icon to remove one. Blank options are dropped when you save.
  • Field mapping — leave it as Not mapped (capture as answer) to store the answer with the submission, or map it to a lead field so the answer fills that field on the lead: Zip code, City, State, Street address, First name, or Last name.
  • Required / Optional — toggle whether the visitor must answer before moving on.

Select Add question to append a step, or the bin icon next to a question to remove it. Select Save when you're done; questions with no text are discarded.

Publishing and sharing

Each quiz is either DRAFT or PUBLISHED. Select Publish to make it live and Unpublish to take it down; a quiz that isn't published shows "Quiz not found" to visitors.

Every quiz has a public link of the form /q/<id>, shown under its title. Use the copy icon to copy the full link, or the open-in-new-tab icon (published quizzes only) to view it.

What visitors see

The public quiz shows a progress bar and step counter, one question per step, and Back / Next buttons. Required questions must be answered before Next is enabled.

The final step asks "Where should we send your results?" with Name, Email, and Phone fields. Visitors must enter an email or a phone number (and tick the consent box, if you set consent text) before See my results is enabled. After submitting, they see your thank-you message.

A visitor who reloads or returns on the same device is recognised as the same person, so they count once in your statistics rather than as a new start each time.

Quiz statistics

Each quiz in the list shows how many submissions it has received. Once anyone has started a quiz, you also see how many visitors started, how many completed (with the completion percentage), and — if some didn't finish — the question with the most drop-off (for example "most drop-off at Q3"). Use this to spot the step that's costing you leads.

Landing pages

Importing a page

  1. Go to Leads → Landing Pages and select Import HTML.
  2. Enter a Name and paste the page's full HTML (up to 500,000 characters).
  3. Select Import.

The page is imported as a DRAFT. Select Publish to make it live at its public /lp/<id> link, and Unpublish to take it down. Use the copy icon to copy the link, or the open-in-new-tab icon (published pages only) to view it. Each page shows its view count in the list.

What happens to your HTML

The page is hosted as-is, but cleaned for safety first: scripts, inline event handlers, javascript: links, and embedded frames or objects are removed. Layout, styles, images, links, and forms are kept, so the page looks like the original.

One thing is added: a capture script that connects the page's existing forms to your lead pipeline. When a visitor submits a form on the page, the submission becomes a lead attributed to that landing page. Because the original scripts are stripped, any behaviour the page relied on its own JavaScript for (animations, third-party widgets, custom validation) will not run.

Visitors who open an unpublished or unknown link see a plain "Page not found" message.

Permissions

Both pages require the leads: read permission to view. Creating a quiz or importing a page requires leads: create; editing, publishing, and unpublishing require leads: update. Quiz Funnels also require the Sites module to be enabled for your workspace.

If you can't see either page, ask your organization owner — see Account & Team.
